Request an Existing SNOW Job to be run

Overview

Use this process if you need to run an existing SNOW job.

Normal Process

1. Open up https://cigna.service-now.com/esp?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=9440f0e5db4a145abcafb5aaf961950
   • Or Navigate to https://cigna.service-now.com
   • Search: "Batch Management Run/Restart Request"
   • Click "Add to Favorites?" so it will always show in "My Favorites" folder.

SNOW Form

• Request Type: Demand a job in director
• SubSystems: Group2 - Distributed
• BUC$ Code:
  • For CEM: GCEM
  • For SAM3: GIX6
• ESP APPL NAME: Click here to get appropriate ESP APPL NAME for the environment (staging, prod, etc.)
• Job Name: Click here to get appropriate job name for environment (staging, prod, etc.)
• Email ID (to notify additional users): Optional field, ; separated emails
• Reason: Other
• Describe Other: run job to load drop sample requested for QUAD application
• Past Date (Enter prior date): 01-21-2021
• Hours: 00

• Minutes: 00

• Click "Submit"

  • ServiceNow - will send an email with the open Request Item RITM000000
  • ignio_alert_prod - will state in email if job completed successfully.
    • If JOB FAILS, please see step 3
  • ServiceNow - will send another email will confirm Request Item RITM0000000 has been closed

Note: The 'Past Date' field is being used as an example, enter the most current prior date.

Job Fails

3. If job fails use \\CIWSQLXP0099\core_cem_ssis\LogFiles to see what caused the job to fail
   • if a job fails, an email will be be sent from `ESPM2D@Cigna.com`

  • Note: Generation Number can be found in te ignio_alert_prod email before the table.
• Email ID (to notify additional users): Optional field, ; separated emails

• Describe Other:

  *copy the body text from email `ESPM2D@Cigna.com` and paste into the request window. See example below:*
